LURAY, Va. ― On Monday, May 6, 2024, Page County Public Schools held their annual Employee Recognition Dinner. Teachers, Support Staff, and Transportation staff who were selected by their peers for their excellent performance, dedication, and efforts to go above and beyond the call of duty for the betterment of our school system, were honored.
The ceremony recognized the Teacher of the Year and Support Staff Member of the Year from each school in the division, Transportation Employees of the Year from both the northern and southern ends of the county, as well as the announcement of Division Teacher of the Year, Division Support Staff Member of the Year, and Division Transportation Members of the Year (Northern and Southern).
This year’s Division Teacher of the Year is Mr. Greg Morrison, a fourth grade teacher from Springfield Elementary School. The Division Support Staff Member of the Year is Mrs. Pam Nichols, an Instructional Aide serving at the Page County Technical Center, and the Division Transportation Employees of the Year are Mrs. Lois Good and Mrs. Wendy Williams, both dedicated bus drivers.
Employees were recognized for their outstanding achievements by Dr. Fox, Division Superintendent, Dr. Paul Johnson, Assistant Superintendent of Human Resources and Business Operations, Mrs. Gabby Ryman, Assistant Superintendent of Instruction, Innovation, and Accountability, Mrs. Patty Secrist, Chief Financial Officer, Ms. Pam Hall, Supervisor of Transportation, and building level administrators.
Page County Public Schools is fortunate to have such dedicated, loyal employees. Congratulations to all of this year’s recipients.
