Notice to parents in the Shenandoah area- Bus 2 will not be running on Thursday or Friday. We have divided the route between 2 buses. Bus 48 will cover Grovehill River Road/ River Road- 6:55am and Riverbend Road at 7:05am, the evening drop off times will vary also. Bus 58 will cover McDaniel Lane at 7:20 am and Rinaca Lane at 7:30am, the evening drop off times will vary also. Thank you, and please share .

Friday, January 7, 2022 - Inclement Weather Notification Due to forecasted inclement weather, all PCPS schools and offices will be closed on Friday, January 7, 2022 and all after-school and evening activities on Friday are also cancelled. Additionally, Friday will be a remote learning day for all students and specific information will be shared electronically by teachers. Thank you and we hope that everyone stays safe and warm.

Events and Activities on Thursday, January 6, 2021 School will begin on time Thursday, January 6. However, due to forecasted inclement weather arriving later in the day and impacting travel, all PCPS after-school and evening activities are cancelled on Thursday, January 6. ‼️Please share‼️ Notice to parents in the Shenandoah Area- Bus 58 route will be split by several buses Wednesday morning. No changes will be made to the afternoon route. Listed below are the changes for the morning route only- Bus 48 will cover 340 from the recycling center to Rudy’s Diner and Eppard Subdivision around 9.35 am. Bus 2 will cover Shenandoah River Road- 9:30 am, Junior Avenue- 9:35 am and High Knoll Terrace Subdivison -9:40 am. Bus 4 will cover Bus 58 Elementary second route at 9:45 am.

All PCPS schools and offices will open on a two-hour delay on Wednesday, January 5, 2022. Please expect some delays in transportation as our drivers will travel with extra care and caution. We ask everyone to do a health assessment in the morning and if you are not feeling well, please stay home. We need everyone’s help to ensure that we can all stay in school when weather does not impact us. Also, we ask parents or guardians of students who drive to school to talk with them about being extra careful in the morning. We want everyone to arrive safely and ready to learn. All PCPS faculty and staff are asked to check their email for additional information. Thank you!
