Luray High School

Students at Page County Technical Center are busy practicing salon skills as they begin preparing for their State Board Examination. They will begin perfecting the skills necessary to obtain a license to work at any salon in the state of Virginia. Students (pictured) are demonstrating foiling color techniques which will be offered in salons and required as part of their State Examination. They are shown demonstrating perming and haircutting techniques, as those services will also be utilized in a salon and will be a part of their final test. Students will take the 2-part, practical and theory examination at the end of May.
