Due to the impending inclement weather, tonight’s scheduled school board budget work session is being postponed and reschedule for the 24th of February (Wednesday) at 5 p.m. Please share.
Clarification to the Original Post Regarding the Proposed SY Calendar for 2021-2022.
The proposed Page County Public Schools 2021-22 school calendar draft has students returning to school 5 days a week beginning the week of August 23, 2021. It is built on the 180-day model and therefore the draft utilizes remote learning days to satisfy the requirements of the Virginia Department of Education as well providing some flexibility. We are working on developing a summer program to address the learning gaps that may have occurred over the past 2 years. The July and August days listed on the draft (SWH-Summer Work Hours) are 12 month employee work hours, not instructional days. Page County Public School is exploring a full remote option for students who are interested. We will continue to collect feedback and review your comments through the development of the school calendar.

2020 yearbooks will be available for pick up starting Monday February 15th in the office. Please go to the office and see Mrs. Turner to pick up your yearbook. There are extra copies for sale if you did not preorder one. Order forms for the 2021 yearbook are also available in the office.

Due to the possibility of inclement weather, Nutritional Services will be distributing regular weekend/Wednesday meal bags INCLUDING inclement weather meals Day 6 & 7 tomorrow for all 4 day a week students and A Day students. B day students, remote learners, and children (18 and under not enrolled in PCPS) can pick-up these bags from 12:30-1:30pm at the regular meal pick up schools (Springfield, Luray Middle, Stanley, Page Middle, or Shenandoah). Families are encouraged to go to the closest or most convenient pick-up location. Each meal bag will contain 3 breakfasts, 3 lunches, 2 dinners, and 5 snacks.
