postponed
Clarification to the Original Post Regarding the Proposed SY Calendar for 2021-2022. The proposed Page County Public Schools 2021-22 school calendar draft has students returning to school 5 days a week beginning the week of August 23, 2021. It is built on the 180-day model and therefore the draft utilizes remote learning days to satisfy the requirements of the Virginia Department of Education as well providing some flexibility. We are working on developing a summer program to address the learning gaps that may have occurred over the past 2 years. The July and August days listed on the draft (SWH-Summer Work Hours) are 12 month employee work hours, not instructional days. Page County Public School is exploring a full remote option for students who are interested. We will continue to collect feedback and review your comments through the development of the school calendar.
