This past weekend Page County Public Schools participated in the 25th Annual Shenandoah Valley Teacher Job Fair. This joint venture, sponsored by Page County, Shenandoah County, Harrisonburg City, Waynesboro City, Staunton City, Augusta County, and Madison County, hosted over 100 teacher applicants. Page County Public Schools extended invitations for interviews to more than 40 candidates.
Page County Public Schools utilized ten interview teams consisting of School and Division Administrators. A total of 21 PCPS representatives participated and spent the day at Rocktown High School, in Harrisonburg, VA, meeting, greeting, and interviewing teacher candidates from up and down the East Coast. This is the division's largest recruiting venture each year, and this one was deemed a huge success.
