As you review your child's progress, please remember that Parent Teacher Conferences will be held on November 7 from 10am-6pm. PCPS Faculty, Staff and Families, For further clarity, the additional police presence today is not in response to any direct threats to the school division but as a precautionary measure from law enforcement. Again, we want to reassure our school community that PCPS has not received any threats related to the hoax incidents that are occurring around the state. If we do receive threats, we respond immediately to investigate, involving law enforcement and taking all necessary precautions to ensure student and staff safety. If you or your child become aware of any potential threats please immediately notify a school staff member, a school resource officer, or contact law enforcement. Thank you for helping us provide a safe and secure learning environment for our students and staff. We are committed to providing a safe learning environment for all students and staff, and are grateful to our law enforcement partners for their continued vigilance and support. October is NATIONAL PHYSICAL THERAPY MONTH!!! Did you know that PTs in the schools are different from clinic-based PTs? In the school setting, they help children have equal access to quality education by helping them to access the physical space in the school. They ensure students have the same learning opportunities as other students that may be more difficult to achieve due to a physical limitation. We love our PT, Kathy Foley, and appreciate all she does to help the students across the division!!!
