Good morning Shenandoah Elementary School Families,
Shenandoah Elementary School went into a school-wide lockdown at about 10:30 a.m. due to a report of a suspicious individual in the community. The Page County Sheriff’s Office and the Shenandoah Police Department are currently on site and conducting a full sweep of the area. We will remain in a lockdown until there is confirmation that all is clear from law enforcement. At this time, all students and staff are safe and continuing with instruction. PCPS will continue to update you as we receive new information.

This is an important Bus Route message from PCPS:
NOTICE OF A LATE BUS ON THURSDAY MORNING AND AFTERNOON--
Notice to parents in the Stanley Area--Bus 68 will be approximately 30 minutes late on Thursday, March 24th for the MORNING run and 30 minutes late for the EVENING run. Bus 35 will be doubling up to cover Bus 68's route.

During School Board Appreciation month we also want to recognize two other special people. We would like to recognize Linda Breeden-Wallace for serving as the Clerk of the Board and the PCPS FOIA Officer, and Kim Burton, who serves as the Deputy Clerk of the Board. In the Shenandoah area, Bus 28 can not cross bridge at 602. Therefore, it will not be running in Rinaca's Corner, Batman Rd, Shipwreck Farms, subdivision and Nature Trails.
PCPS will advise once the bridge reopens.
