Mrs. Crennan’s third graders, at Stanley Elementary School, created their own water cycle using water, salt, cling wrap, and the sun. The sun heated the salt water, it evaporated to the cling wrap, and funneled into the empty cup in the center. They only had it outside for 2 1/2 hours, but saw the results! The water in the center was fresh water, and not salty! This experiment was a great way for students to see first hand what they’re learning in the classroom!
