To wrap up their unit on text features, Ms. Miller and Ms. Duncan’s first grade classes created and presented individual timeline projects. Students used this opportunity to get creative! Some ideas they came up with included timelines of their life, their vacations, their pets, their favorite foods each year, and their favorite tv shows. This project gave students a better understanding of timelines, as well as the opportunity to present in front of their peers and demonstrate self confidence, a skill they have been discussing during morning meeting.
