On Thursday, November 7, 2019, Ms. Nicole Clem and Ms. Lynette Shenk visited Mrs. Brown’s first grade class as part of the Read for Health program, which is a nutrition and literacy program throughout the Commonwealth of Virginia. This program is sponsored by the Virginia Cooperative Extension office. The students listened to the story D.W. the Picky Eater, students tasted three different types of apples, and voted for their favorite one. #stanleyisfamily
